Winter Conference was a beautiful time that happened right before the start of the semester. Our movement alongside movements from Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona and Epic movements across the US, came together to worship the Lord in a setting that most don’t get to experience often. With all of our movements together we got to see about 1,000 students come to Anaheim for this conference.
Our students got poured into by amazing speakers who challenged their heart posture. They got to see one of the most beautiful performances called “The Bema” that challenges students to live for Christ now and not just tomorrow (If you haven’t seen it, I really recommend you drop what you are doing and watch it now).
They got to step out in faith by being sent out into local communities to experience other cultures, share their faith, or even be a resource for the community. In our Day of Faith our movement alongside the others got to have 1535 initiated conversations with people, 446 spiritual conversations, 226 people prayed for, 102 partial gospel presentations, 92 gospel presentations, and 7 people pray to receive Christ. For those doing service projects we sent out 260 students and they ended up serving 685 people. Praise God for what He did and what He will continue to do!
In the final days of winter conference, we got to challenge the students to trust the Lord on whatever campus the go home to. Many students took steps of trusting the Lord for their future like going on summer missions or spring break trips, taking steps to intern or volunteer, having spiritual conversations in their classrooms, having spiritual conversations with friends / family / and strangers, etc.
