Matt is the Team Leader of the South LA team. He coaches the core team, the Staff team, and makes sure that we are all being trained and cared for in all things that we do. He also disciples some of our male student leaders. He parents Emie alongside his better half Callie. (Fun fact: Matt hates Cilantro, won’t even eat pico de gallo because of it.)
Callie has stepped into full time parenting of Emie and also does discipleship with some of the female student leaders. (Fun fact: Callie is trying to run a marathon in every state of the US. Emie loves dried seaweed.)
Frank is a part time field staff member in South LA. He helps coach the freshman discipleship groups, leads our staff development times, he is leading our day of outreach for winter conference, he disciples some of the male students, and he is launching a new movement at Cypress College. (Fun fact: Frank has over 100 classic records.)
Madecyn is a full time intern in South LA. She helps coach the freshman discipleship groups, she is launching a movement at Long Beach City College, she is discipling female students within the movement, and she is being developed through Cru’s development training program.
(Fun Fact: She has picked up cross stitching as a way of learning to slow down and enjoy the present.)
Becky is a part time staff member in South LA. She coaches our face of Cru team that puts on all our events, she leads with caring for our South LA partners, she disciples female students within our movement, and she is being developed through Cru’s development training program. (Fun Fact: Becky is a gamer girl who loves to play Animal Crossing and she is a car girl who knows how to change her oil.)
Elizabeth is a volunteer staff member in South LA. She is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at CSULB. She helps coach students with their testimony for our weekly meetings, she is going to be helping with discipling our female students next semester. (Fun Fact: She can out dance anyone you know and prefers swing dancing.)
Cody is a full time staff member in South LA. He helps coach freshman discipleship groups, he helps with partner care in South LA, he leads the operations and logistics for South LA, he disciples some of the male students, and he is finishing up part of the development program through Cru. (Fun Fact: He is a huge fan of Angelo's Italian Deli in Seal Beach.)
